Welcome to Misterbianco! – L’inizio di una grande avventura.
Il 24 novembre 2025 ha preso ufficialmente il via l’avventura italiana dei nostri ospiti tedeschi della Gesamtschule Ückendorf.
Ad accoglierli all’aeroporto di Catania c’erano il Dirigente Scolastico, la referente del progetto eTwinning/Erasmus+, prof.ssa Nicolosi, e alcuni studenti con le loro famiglie, desiderosi di dare personalmente il benvenuto ai loro nuovi amici europei!
Con colorati cartelli di Welcome, sorrisi e tanta emozione, l’arrivo dei ragazzi e dei docenti tedeschi si è trasformato in un momento speciale, ricco di entusiasmo e partecipazione. Fin dai primi istanti, l’inglese è diventato il linguaggio dell’amicizia: t
ra presentazioni, domande e sorrisi, studenti italiani e tedeschi hanno iniziato a conoscersi con spontaneità ed entusiasmo, segnando l’inizio di un’esperienza di autentico incontro tra culture diverse.
Questo caloroso benvenuto ha rappresentato il primo capitolo di una straordinaria esperienza di amicizia, condivisione e scambio culturale europeo nell’ambito del progetto eTwinning Glitter & Greetings Across Europe.

Welcome to Misterbianco! – The Beginning of a Great Adventure
On November 24th, 2025, the Italian adventure of our German guests from Gesamtschule Ückendorf officially began.
Waiting to welcome them at Catania Airport were the Principal, the eTwinning/Erasmus+ project coordinator, Mrs Nicolosi, and several students accompanied by their families, who wanted to be there personally to greet the German visitors.
With colorful Welcome signs, smiles, and great excitement, the arrival of the German students and teachers turned into a truly special moment, filled with enthusiasm and participation. From the very first moments, English became the language of friendship: through introductions, questions, and smiles, Italian and German students began getting to know one another naturally and enthusiastically, marking the beginning of an authentic encounter between different cultures.
This warm welcome represented the first chapter of an extraordinary experience of friendship, sharing, and European cultural exchange within the framework of the eTwinning project “Glitter & Greetings Across Europe”.
